Sándor Radó, M.D. (1890-1972)

The Sándor Radó Lectureship was initiated in 1957 shortly before the retirement of Dr. Radó, the first Director of the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. The lectureship commemorates his 16-class seminar on advanced psychoanalytic technique for senior candidates. The Sándor Radó Lecture is given each year and is funded jointly by the APM and the Columbia University Psychoanalytic Center. This lectureship carries an honorarium and includes travel expenses.
